Important information
Meeting point
Our boarding point is Dársena de Levante, C. Levante, Atraque 298, Benalmádena. You’ll find us at Puerto Marina de Benalmádena: look for the mast of the sailing boat Ocean Cruiser, at Berth 298, almost opposite the well-known 7Camicie shop. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before departure time to complete boarding at your leisure.
What to bring
- Camera or mobile phone (you’ll want to capture the coastal views).
- Comfortable clothing and sun protection.
- Comfortable footwear: you may board in street shoes as this is a public service, although something comfortable for moving around the boat is recommended.

- Duration: each departure lasts 1 h.

- Capacity: shared activity with other passengers, with a maximum of 12 people per departure to ensure comfort and safety.

Booked this last minute while walking around Puerto Marina and so glad we did. The mast of the Ocean Cruiser is right in front of the 7Camicie shop, easy to spot. Sea was calm, the views of the coast and the mountains behind it were stunning. Well worth it.
Lovely little trip around the bay. The old wooden sailboat is gorgeous, so much nicer than the big tourist boats. Our kids loved feeling like proper sailors and the free drink was a nice touch. Perfect for an hour if youre visiting Benalmadena.

We had mixed feelings honestly. The boat itself is beautiful and the crew were friendly, but the trip felt rushed and we left about 15 minutes late so we got even less time on the water. Also very little shade on deck, bring a hat if you go around midday like we did. Nice enough as a filler between sightseeing but dont expect much more than that.

Hi Sophie, sorry the departure ran late that day, we were waiting on a group that did not show on time and it cut into everyone elses trip. You are right about the shade at midday too, a hat and some sunscreen make a big difference. Thanks for the honest feedback.

Viajamos super confortables con mi familia, el paseo fue súper tranquilo, vimos muchos delfines y la tripulación súper simpática.
Un paseo muy agradable,hemos tenido suerte de ver varios delfines mulares alrededor del barco jugando con nosotros, la tripulación muy amable.

Cómo todos los años nos damos un paseo en este fantástico velero clásico. Un encanto Juan Carlos, su capitán. Hemos visto delfines y se hace corto una hora. Se agradece que nos den unos refrescos de forma totalmente gratuita. La tripulación de diez. Volveré como cada año.
Hoy hemos tenido la suerte de pasear en este increíble velero! Desde la contratación hasta el propio paseo ha sido de 10 el trato al cliente y la calidad del servicio! Sin duda repetiremos!!!!!
Aujourd'hui 26 septembre 2023, superbe balade au départ de 11h. Mer calme, 30°c, après un apéritif offert , au bout de 20 mn nous avons aperçu 4 dauphins. Pendant une dizaine de minutes. Ils nous ont même proposés de nous baigner. Forcément 1h ça passe vite , mais ce fut une belle balade depaysante.
Superbe experience. Le capitaine et son matelot parlent bien le français. Ils sont respectueux des dauphins. Nous en avons même vu tout près du bateau. Je recommande cette sortie en famille.
I had the great pleasure to do a trip on the Ocean Cruiser and I urge anyone looking to do a boat trip/charter to go on this vessel. The Ocean Cruiser has the proud heritage of having sailed twice round the world and has been on tv. This is a true classic yacht and to be able to share in this heritage for a 15€/20€ boat trip is incredible ! The owners are passionate about the sea and their customers and if you want a great day out, please book this yacht. The yacht is quality and the crew are quality. You can charter for yourself and crew or as a passenger with others. Saïd is the salesman who will sell you the ticket and the yacht is situated inside the Marina nearer to the Metro restaurant. Ask for Saïd ! Top guy ! 👍
Chaque année depuis 10 ans nous profitons d’un (ou de plusieurs 😁) tour(s) en bateau avec le capitaine Juan Carlos. Nous ne sommes jamais déçus!! Toujours agréable, il parle parfaitement le français et il a toujours des informations et des anecdotes intéressantes à nous donner sur la vie marine ou même la vie en Espagne…Le bateau est confortable et les dauphins viennent nous faire un petit coucou de temps en temps. Juan Carlos est très vigilant à la conservation de la nature, il ne chasse pas les dauphins mais il éteint son moteur et attend qu’ils viennent à lui naturellement: Nous en avons été témoins cet été 2022 alors que d’autres bateaux les pourchassaient en les terrifiant. Je le recommande vivement comme vous l’aurez compris et je lui dis: « à l’été prochain!! »😉
