Unlike large commercial vessels, dolphin watching aboard a classic wooden sailing boat brings a peace and quiet that dolphins appreciate, allowing us sometimes to approach them in a more natural and tranquil way. Our skipper knows the currents and the areas where these intelligent animals tend to play. It is an educational, exciting and relaxing activity that fits perfectly into your travel itinerary, letting you enjoy the sea breeze before your next sightseeing stop at the marina.
During the voyage we will offer you a complimentary drink, a soft drink or a sangria. Please bear in mind that, as these are wild animals in their natural environment, every trip is a different adventure: the elegance of the sailing boat and the vastness of the Mediterranean guarantee that, even on days when the dolphins decide not to show themselves, the excursion remains an unforgettable luxury and relaxation experience.

Important information
Meeting point: Puerto Marina, Benalmádena. Our exact address is Dársena de Levante, C. Levante, Atraque 298, Benalmádena. Look for the mast of the iconic Ocean Cruiser; we are moored almost directly opposite the well-known 7Camicie shop. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the departure time for a smooth boarding.
What to bring and practical details:
- Camera or binoculars, if you have them.
- Comfortable clothing and a light layer (it tends to be windier and cooler out at sea).
- Sun cream and sunglasses.
- Footwear: you may board in everyday shoes as this is a public service, though we recommend comfortable footwear for moving around the boat.
- We recommend taking a seasickness tablet (Dramamine) about 30 minutes before setting off to prevent motion sickness during the search in open water.

Sadly we didnt see any dolphins on our trip. They are upfront that its wild animals and no guarantee, which is fair, but its still a let down when youve got excited kids. The sail itself was pleasant and calm and the courtesy drink was a nice touch. Just a gamble on the day i suppose

Hi Chloe, so sorry the dolphins stayed away that day. They are wild and some days they just do not show, which is tough with excited kids, I know. Glad the sail was calm and the drink went down well. If you fancy rolling the dice again, we would love to have you back.
Great little trip and we did see dolphins in the distance. Its a shared boat and watching only, no swimming, and it really is about an hour, so plan for that. Bring a jumper, its breezy out there even on a hot day. Skipper was friendly and knew where to look.

Did the dolphin trip after visiting Parque de la Paloma and it was a lovely way to end the day. We were lucky, a pod came right up to the sailboat, so much closer than the big noisy tour boats. Kids were buzzing. Only an hour but perfect for little ones

Viajamos super confortables con mi familia, el paseo fue súper tranquilo, vimos muchos delfines y la tripulación súper simpática.
Un paseo muy agradable,hemos tenido suerte de ver varios delfines mulares alrededor del barco jugando con nosotros, la tripulación muy amable.
We spotted alot of dolphins!
Cómo todos los años nos damos un paseo en este fantástico velero clásico. Un encanto Juan Carlos, su capitán. Hemos visto delfines y se hace corto una hora. Se agradece que nos den unos refrescos de forma totalmente gratuita. La tripulación de diez. Volveré como cada año.
Hoy hemos tenido la suerte de pasear en este increíble velero! Desde la contratación hasta el propio paseo ha sido de 10 el trato al cliente y la calidad del servicio! Sin duda repetiremos!!!!!
Aujourd'hui 26 septembre 2023, superbe balade au départ de 11h. Mer calme, 30°c, après un apéritif offert , au bout de 20 mn nous avons aperçu 4 dauphins. Pendant une dizaine de minutes. Ils nous ont même proposés de nous baigner. Forcément 1h ça passe vite , mais ce fut une belle balade depaysante.
Superbe experience. Le capitaine et son matelot parlent bien le français. Ils sont respectueux des dauphins. Nous en avons même vu tout près du bateau. Je recommande cette sortie en famille.
I had the great pleasure to do a trip on the Ocean Cruiser and I urge anyone looking to do a boat trip/charter to go on this vessel. The Ocean Cruiser has the proud heritage of having sailed twice round the world and has been on tv. This is a true classic yacht and to be able to share in this heritage for a 15€/20€ boat trip is incredible ! The owners are passionate about the sea and their customers and if you want a great day out, please book this yacht. The yacht is quality and the crew are quality. You can charter for yourself and crew or as a passenger with others. Saïd is the salesman who will sell you the ticket and the yacht is situated inside the Marina nearer to the Metro restaurant. Ask for Saïd ! Top guy ! 👍
Chaque année depuis 10 ans nous profitons d’un (ou de plusieurs 😁) tour(s) en bateau avec le capitaine Juan Carlos. Nous ne sommes jamais déçus!! Toujours agréable, il parle parfaitement le français et il a toujours des informations et des anecdotes intéressantes à nous donner sur la vie marine ou même la vie en Espagne…Le bateau est confortable et les dauphins viennent nous faire un petit coucou de temps en temps. Juan Carlos est très vigilant à la conservation de la nature, il ne chasse pas les dauphins mais il éteint son moteur et attend qu’ils viennent à lui naturellement: Nous en avons été témoins cet été 2022 alors que d’autres bateaux les pourchassaient en les terrifiant. Je le recommande vivement comme vous l’aurez compris et je lui dis: « à l’été prochain!! »😉
